Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 July 2026
We keep data collection to a minimum. There are no user accounts and you do not need to sign in to use Arrival Indicator.
What we collect
- Analytics. We use Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage. Google may set cookies and process usage data under its own policies.
- Contact messages. If you use the contact form, we store the name, email (optional), and message you provide so we can read and respond to it.
- Airport votes. When you vote for an airport, we store the vote together with a one-way hashed fingerprint of your IP address and browser (used only to stop duplicate votes — we do not store your raw IP for this).
- On your device. Your chosen language and which airports you have voted for are saved in your browser’s local storage; they never leave your device except as a vote.
Third parties
- Flight data is retrieved from AeroDataBox (a third-party aviation data provider).
- Google Analytics / Tag Manager for analytics.
- Hosting is provided by DigitalOcean.
Retention
Contact messages and votes are kept while they remain useful for operating and improving the service. You can ask us to delete a message you sent via the contact page.
Your choices
You can block cookies or use browser privacy controls to limit analytics. Clearing your browser storage removes your saved language and local vote history.
